We offer a diversity of commercial and in-house platforms for whole-genome and custom expression profiling studies. Each platform offers full analysis service including RNA quality control. We encourage investigators to ask any questions or discuss which type of microarray service is best suited for their project goals. See below for a list of currently supported platforms.

Illumina expression microarrays

Illumina's assay technologies provide robust performance, flexibility in use, and scalable multiplexing for RNA and DNA applications.

Illumina’s cDNA-mediated annealing, selection, extension, and ligation assay-shortened to DASL-is part of a powerful gene expression solution designed to generate reproducible profiles from degraded RNAs such as those derived from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues.

Agilent expression microarrays

Researchers can benefit from Agilent's accurate, sensitive and well-validated platform for interrogating expression profiles for a wide range of genomes. Their high-quality 60mer oligo probe sets are available in a number of different multiplex slide formats for cost-effectiveness, and they offer flexible and easy design of custom arrays with their e-Array program. Roche NimbleGen expression microarrays

Researchers can choose the NimbleGen platform for very high density coverage. They offer genome-wide expression for many different organisms, multiplex slide formats and custom array availability. Researchers also can tile through a genome at any desired spacing to discover genome-wide expression activity in both coding and noncoding regions.

Standard oligo expression microarrays

These are also known as standard "in-house", spotted, or "model organism" microarrays. Our facility has extensive experience producing and optimizing these arrays via our high throughput printing laboratory. Please see figure below for a list of our standard oligo expression microarrays.

Sample Requirements: 5-10ug total RNA, if amplification required: 200ng-1ug total RNA

Custom oligo expression microarrays

In some cases, investigators may have a non-standard oligo set that they would like to have printed. These libraries are often created to interrogate a hand selected set of genes or simply because a standard oligo library for an organism of interest is not offered.

Sample Requirements: 5-10ug total RNA, if amplification required: 200ng-1ug total RNA

cDNA expression microarrays

By definition, all cDNA micorarray projects are custom projects. We offer a full cDNA service including probe design and preparation with quality assurance at every step. Alternatively, investigators can bring in their previously prepared cDNA libraries for printing.

Sample Requirements: 5-10ug total RNA, if amplification required: 200ng-1ug total RNA
