Welcome to the Vancouver Prostate Centre Microarray Facility

Microarray technology remains the fastest, most cost-effective and largely distributed high-throughput method to study the plasticity of whole genomes for research or clinical purposes.

• The Vancouver Prostate Centre’s Microarray Facility is a multi-platform core group that integrates service provider and research capabilities under one organization, allowing the management of research projects involving the successful design and completion of microarray experiments. As well as supporting the Vancouver Prostate Centre’s internal research programs, the facility offers specific and full-service packages to external academic and private research groups. Our team is committed to excellence and offers rapid, economical and most suitable microarray expertise to small or large scale projects.

• Created in 1998, the facility was expanded in 2001 to serve as the Genome British Columbia Microarray Platform and since has supported research projects that have a significant impact on the Canadian economy and custom products that support local biotech growth.

• A key mission of the facility is our contribution to innovations still emerging from the application of microarray technology
