The Prostate Centre Microarray Facility provides expertise
and support to ensure the best possible use of the microarray
technology. The facility offers rapid and economical access
to microarray technology for academic and private sector groups.
The facility's expertise in microarray design, production, hybridization
and data analysis is very flexible and amenable to small- and
large-scale projects.
We offer whole genome expression and CGH microarrays. We develop
and produce cDNA, oligo and protein microarrays to your specifications.
We also provide tools and support for simple and complex data
analysis. The facility is keenly interested in technological
advances in the area of microarray and welcomes all projects.

• We offer RNA purification, hybridization, scanning and

• Expression analysis
We offer two platforms for whole genome expression microarrays:
oligo libraries from Operon (in-house printing) and printed
microarrays from Agilent. Each platform offers full analysis
service including RNA quality control
• Custom printed microarrays
We develop and produce cDNA, oligo and protein microarrays to
your specifications. We offer full analysis service including
microarray design for all microarrays and we offer probe design
and preparation for all cDNA microarrays
• CGH microarrays
We offer sample processing on the Agilent platform
• Data analysis
We offer tools and support for simple and complex data analysis
• Arraying and liquid handling services
